Color and Correction Tips:

 

• Lip color must match the skin tone. Warm and cool rules strictly apply. A warm lip color on a cool skin tone, will immediately look hard or lifeless.
• If you are re-shaping lips, make sure that lip definer is a close match to lip color as to not draw attention to the correction. Do not over-correct. You can only use the vermillion border of the lip as a gauge. It is best to only draw just below the vermillion border of the lip or just slightly above the vermillion border. If you go too far it will look artificial and draw attention to the problem you are trying to correct.
